The 2013 sketchbook is the third sketchbook produced by Kim Jung Gi.  This sketchbook contains 536 pages of amazing sketches, character art, and comics pages covering a wide range of topics. Throughout the book, there are numerous point-of-view sketches and concept art. The majority of the sketches have incredible perspective distortion. This book spans the years 2012 and 2013, and includes all of his drawings, as well as large production for shows and exhibitions (such as 5 x 1 m) and small sketches on envelopes or paper napkins. The book comes with an A2 poster and cardboard transport protection. The 2022 Sketch Collection, Kim Jung Gi's latest sketchbook filled with masterful drawings created since 2018, is now available.  Originally scheduled for release in the summer of 2020, it was postponed due to the pandemic, but this provided Jung Gi with a unique opportunity. Instead of touring and working on projects, he was able to return to what he loves most: drawing incessantly and putting his imagination to the test. The result is 480 pages of mesmerizing illustrations. The pages are filled with sketches, portraits, caricatures, cityscapes, comics, and all kinds of real-life characters, whose lines are so dynamic that they almost seem to move towards you as they try to leave the page. Workshop: Composition and Storytelling with Kim Jung Gi

Kim Jung Gi will make an appearance in New York City! This will be his first trip to the United States since the pandemic began. He is eager to share his knowledge and answer any questions you have had over the last two years.Kim Jung Gi's work appears to be spontaneous, with no sketches or references to look at, but careful planning is required. Attendees will see his research process and how to create a dynamic composition to fulfill the storytelling in this workshop.In this lecture, he will demonstrate how to use various compositions in storytelling, as well as how to use different camera angles with various adjectives. There are plenty more! Kim Jung Gi will discuss his research and creative process for creating various compositions. How to use various camera angles with different adjectives. 7:30 - 8:00 pm Break (merchandise available for purchase). 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm Workshop Part II One of the compositions will be chosen for the final round.
